Yard Work 101

Jed and I spent a good part of the day on Sunday doing yard work at our house. It ended up being really fun... after I was willing to get a little dirty and sweaty! :)
Here are some before and after pictures of our work...

Lesson 1: RAKE in the fall!!
Jed took out all of the stones, I hosed them off and he re-stacked them and they look so great!

Lesson 2: Mulch is really pretty and old bricks make a great border.

Lesson 3: Every yard should have tulips.


Lesson 4: Be patient. We thought at first that these were hosta and they still might be, but we have other hosta in our yard that have white along the edges of the leaves. We will have to wait and see!

We also put in some tomato plants in the backyard and dug other things up and mulched some more. Many more projects for the future!
