SPRING!

I know it's only March 18th, and I know that spring doesn't technically start for a few more days but.... look at it outside, it's gorgeous! I thought I'd sit and ponder some reasons why I like spring...

• The smell ... Once the snow melts and the ground dries up a bit, you can smell the ground and the grass and it's so good! Or, the combination of a light rain, then sunshine hitting the ground! (Note: NOT the smell of worms ... gross!)
• Daylight Savings ... I know losing that hour of sleep last weekend was a bummer, but I'm really loving it being light out later in the evening.
• NO MORE WINTER COATS!
• Colors ... I love that spring time is an excuse for stores to put out new, fun, bright, light colors - I.E. Gap's new v-neck Ts, Hello!
• TULIP TIME!
• Everything tastes better when cooked on the GRILL...
• Going on walks without dying of heat stroke
• And most of all... spring just means SUMMER is just around the corner... :)
